The Polar Down Hood is a water-resistant and durable down jacket, designed to provide warmth and functionality in cold weather conditions. It is constructed from a combination of nylon and polyester, with a textured outer fabric and a smooth contrast panel across the chest and upper back. The lining is made from recycled nylon blended with graphene yarn to help regulate body temperature and keep you comfortable during activity.

The jacket is treated with a PFC-free DWR finish for effective water repellency, improving water runoff and helping to keep the outer fabric dry. For warmth in cold winter conditions, the jacket is insulated with 90/10 bluesign® APPROVED and RDS-certified down and feathers with a fill power of 700, and reinforced with 100 g PrimaLoft® Black Rise in the side panels.

It features a high microfleece-lined collar and a spacious, down-filled hood. The hood can be adjusted at the back using a Cohaesive® stopper to provide a secure fit and protect against wind and cold in harsh weather. Two additional Cohaesive® stoppers at the hem on each side allow you to easily adjust the fit to your preference and environment.

The jacket is equipped with a water-repellent YKK AquaGuard® two-way zipper, allowing you to regulate fit and ventilation while providing reliable protection against water intrusion. For convenient storage, it includes two zippered waist pockets, one zippered chest pocket, and an interior pocket for keeping delicate items safe.

Design details include a Sail Racing logo on the chest pocket zipper, a Sail Antarctica™ badge on the left sleeve, and a tonal welded bloc logo at the top of the hood.
