The Polar Gore Tex Jacket is an expedition-grade jacket engineered for performance and comfort in extreme winter conditions. Constructed from a two-layer 6.6 nylon fabric with stretch and a GORE-TEX® ePe membrane, it offers durability, a flexible fit, and reliable protection from harsh weather.

To further enhance its wind- and waterproof capabilities, the jacket is treated with a PFC-free DWR finish that repels water and improves water runoff, keeping the outer fabric dry. The inner lining is made from recycled nylon blended with graphene fibers to optimize thermoregulation and maintain comfort during high-intensity activity.

To keep you warm in cold and demanding winter environments, the jacket is filled with 90/10 bluesign® APPROVED and RDS-certified down and feathers, with a high fill power of 800. It’s also reinforced with 100 g PrimaLoft® Black Rise in the side panels for additional insulation. With a down weight of 240 g in size Medium, the jacket offers a functional fit that retains heat and delivers a voluminous silhouette.

Designed with a high microfleece-lined collar and a spacious down-filled hood featuring an extended front panel and welded drainage channels for effective water dispersal. The hood can be adjusted at the back with a Cohaesive® stopper to provide a snug fit and protection from wind and cold in demanding weather. Two Cohaesive® stoppers at the hem on each side allow for quick adjustment of the fit and ventilation based on weather and preference. On the inside, the jacket features a snow skirt with an elastic edge and snap-button closure for added protection against snow and wind.

At the cuffs, the jacket features double-layered Lycra® wrist gaiters and adjustable Velcro® closures to shield your hands from the cold. The jacket closes with a water-repellent YKK AquaGuard® two-way zipper, enabling easy adjustment of ventilation and fit while providing reliable defense against water intrusion. For convenient storage, the jacket includes a pocket on the left lower sleeve, two zippered waist pockets, two zippered chest pockets, and three interior pockets—one of which is zippered for secure storage of delicate essentials.

Finished with a Sail Racing logo on the zipper pull of the left chest pocket, an embroidered GORE-TEX® logo on the lower right sleeve, a Sail Antarctica™ logo on the left arm, and a tonal, welded bloc logo on the top of the hood.
