Neoprene Wash and Care

WATERPROOF
NEOPRENE

Neoprene is a brand name of polychloroprene, which is used as a substitute for rubber. Among other things, Neoprene is entirely waterproof, which makes it an ideal material for wetsuits, and other gear designed to insulate against wet and cold environments.

HOW TO
WASH AND CARE

Washing process:

• Hand wash it in cold water with mild detergent.
• Avoid wringing or twisting to prevent damage.

Drying process:

• Allow it to dry flat on a towel and keep it out of direct sunlight to preserve its colour.
• Neoprene doesn’t wrinkle easily, but if ironing is needed, use a low-heat setting with a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric.
• For storage, lay the garment flat or fold it gently to maintain its shape.
