GORE-TEX® TECHNOLOGY

GORE-TEX® fabrics provide durable waterproof, windproof and breathable protection in demanding conditions. The technology is based on a microporous membrane that prevents water from penetrating the fabric while allowing moisture vapor to escape, helping you stay dry and comfortable.

Different GORE-TEX® constructions are designed for specific performance needs. By following the care instructions recommended for your GORE-TEX® products, you maintain the garment’s performance and extend its lifespan.

WASH AND CARE

Washing process:

• Close all zippers and hook-and-loop fasteners.
• Wash at 40°C using a small amount of mild liquid detergent.
• Do not use fabric softener, stain removers, rinse aids, or bleach, as they can damage the fabric’s water-repellent properties and affect the color.
• Rinse the garment twice if possible and keep spinning to a minimum.
• Do not wash together with heavily soiled clothing.

Drying process:

• Dry the garment on a warm, gentle cycle.
• After drying, tumble dry for an additional 20 minutes to reactivate the durable water-repellent treatment.
• If you don’t have access to a tumble dryer, you can iron the garment on a gentle setting.
• Do not use steam.
